FILM COMPETITION 2014 !

Night 10 of the 2014 Henley Living Advent Calendar marked the screening of the winning entries of this year's Film Competition, and was another huge success at the Regal Picturehouse, with Strada kindly partnering and providing some fine cuisine in the foyer.

The winner of the U18s category was James Hargreaves, with his film ‘Court Metrage Hiver'. James is 16 and attends Shiplake College, and narrowly missed out on a prize in last year's competition. One of his course tutors attended as well, and James was presented with his prize of an Amazon Voucher by Chair Richard Rodway on behalf of sponsors The Head Partnership Solicitors, and Regal Picturehouse vouchers by Jane Brian-Boys of the Regal Picturehouse.

The winner of the U12s category was a team effort by Gillotts school friends Phoebe Houldsworth-Bianek and Poppy Priestley, both 12, and Wendy McGloughlin, 11, whose fun film portrayed a 'day in the life' in Henley.
