The Living Advent returned to d:two for day 20, collecting on the night for Nomad again.
A packed d:two saw the audience seated in groups round tables, with puzzles, colouring and sweets for the children, whilst they were all served up popcorn, mince pies, cake and drink.
Richard Rodway welcomed everyone, and thanked everyone for their spirit and generosity throughout the month, which has already now seen the event raise more money for local charities than ever before.
Sue Prior of Nomad then spoke about the charity before she and Roger Coles compered on a varied session of activities, including a festive and fun reading, a take of the Christmas story; a Q&A with the audience about what Christmas means to them; cracker jokes that the children were invited to contribute too; and the climax of the evening was a sing a long to “O Come All Ye Faithful”.
Next up, and the Living Advent moves on to Henley Cricket Club for night #21 where Eco-Cleen will be partnering and fundraising will be for Headway Thames Valley.
