Night 4 of the Living Advent saw a return to Friday Street, where Boatique and Hot Gossip were very kind host. Mayor Lorraine Hillier in full regalia treated the assembling crowds to Hot Gossip mince pies.

The Mayor introduced the night’s surprise performance, a set by 3 piece acoustic act Bathroom Acoustic. Lead singer Lance Gerrard-Wright made himself an instant hit with the crowd when he told of how he had moved to Henley in the last year, what a great town it is, and what great people there are in Henley. The trio treated the joyous crowd to uplifting numbers including Crowded House’s “Weather with you” and Stealer’s Wheels “Stuck in the Middle”. A party atmosphere was created with the large crowd as they went on to enjoy the other delights Henley on Thames Christmas festivities had to offer that night.

Boatique kindly supplied the raffle prizes, with proceeds going to one of the Mayor’s supported charities, the Teenage Wilderness Trust.

Next, we move on to Leander Club where fundraising will be for the Royal British Legion.
