The 2012 Henley Living Advent Calendar opened its last door on Christmas Eve, as over 150 waited outside St Mary's Parish Church. The Choir sang four traditional carols, which the audience joined in. At the finish the children watching were particularly delighted by the flurry of snowflakes in the lamplight. It didn't matter that they were from  a snowmaking machine, as it made the scene delightfully seasonal.
