Over 200 people packed into a festive Market Place for a unique spectacle and Living Advent experience, as a gymnastic arena had been created in front of the Christmas tree, with the paving making way for red matting, spring boards and other equipment, all festively lit, as Spingbox Gymnastics treated the big crowd, full of proud parents, to a fantastic and diverse display.
Young pre-school gymnasts to adults performed a number of routines to various tunes ranging from Pharrel Williams’ ‘Happy’ to Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want for Christmas’.
“It was great to be able to put on such a novel performance. The weather was kind, enabling us to again create a unique experience for the children and audience alike in such a great setting on Christmas Eve Eve” commented chair Richard Rodway.
Mayor Martin Akehurst again presided over festivities with Richard Rodway, with a bumper final night to the raffle with prizes donated by partners for the evening Choco Mallow Coco (Cake decorating class), Massage For Everybody (voucher), Elizabeth Cleall Interiors (room aromatics) and sponsors the Head Partnership Solicitors (bottle of wine).
Next up, it’s on to the final night at Saint Mary's.
