The 18th Advent door was opened at Delegate House. The Living Advent’s very own Carolyn Molyneux (Delegate Conference Services) was joined by the Living Advent’s very own Elizabeth Cleall (Elizabeth Cleall Interiors) to put on a fabulous spread of festive nibbles and drink, amidst the typically festive grotto at Delegate House.
Fundraising on the night was for Regatta for the Disabled.
Richard Rodway welcomed the audience from the first floor window and then introduced brother and sister duo Toby and Annabel Marlow. With Annabel perched on the windowsill and Toby on keyboard, the duo sang a number of contemporary and festive classics, culminating in “Baby It’s Cold Outside”. But their performance was not the end of festivities. With a large contingent of the Henley Rock Choir in the audience, there was some impromptu karaoke, led by Toby and Annabel to “All I Want For Christmas” and “Don’t Stop Me Now”.
Next up, and the Living Advent moves on to another Living Advent classic and favourite venue, with our fabulous fire service. Our own Richard Rodway’s The Head Partnership Solicitors will be partnering on the night, with fundraising for Camp Mohawk.
