The audience at the Kenton Theatre were treated to a sneak preview of this year’s panto ‘Peter Pan’ which opens on Friday 19th December. ‘Captain Hook’, ‘Smee’ and a selection of other pirates thoroughly amused and entertained, and not least through some audience participation, and is a great taster for the panto.
The Bell Bookshop kindly partnered for the evening and supplied mince pies and sweets on arrival.
Festivities were opened by Mayor Martin Akehurst, and Emma Lerche-Thomsen from the Chiltern Centre (one of the supported charities) spoke of the important work they do.
Richard Rodway, Chair and sponsor, conducted the raffle with the assistance of Captain Hook and Smee, handing out prizes to the holders of the lucky winning tickets, donated by The Bell Bookshop (Cook Book) and Bagatelle Toys.
Next up for the Living Advent is a visit to Delegate House on Hart Street.
