The audience at the top of Market Place, opposite the Town Hall, next to the wonderful Christmas tree in Henley this year, treated to liquid refreshment from Echoes / Phantom Brewery, based in neaby Gardiner Place.
With the earlier than normal start time, the audience were treated to a Christmas performance from the children of Sacred Heart Primary who took up position on the Town Hall Steps, concluding their performance with “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”, inviting the audience to join in.
Event organiser and nightly compere Richard Rodway then formally welcomed the audience and gave them the added “surprise” of inviting them into the warmth of the Town Hall for the main surprise performance in the main hall. There they we were met with a festive salsa winter wonderland, with Jennifer Benavidez and DJ on stage, encouraging the audience to get involved in a salsa demonstration / work shop with some salsa elves dotted around the hall to lead the way.
The nightly raffle was presided over by Richard Rodway and Jennifer Benavidez with proceeds going to Royal British Legion.
