David was fantastic, and elicited an "Oooh!" of surprise & delight from the audience as he came out of the door all dressed in his highland Scots uniform and busby. He started by playing some carols and, somewhat to everyone’s surprise, a large part of the crowd broke into spontaneous carolling too. We counted just over 50 people including the Mayor.
