Henley College - Tuesday 15th

Highlights

Night 15 saw the heavens open and Hugh Legh and Richard Rodway had to change their plans again for the second time in 5 days. The multi-sited outdoor performance had to be foregone, with the performance taking place at the Deansfield Reception at Henley College, with the audience outside and given some respite from the rain by a number of gazebos.

Those that did brave the elements were given a real treat by partners for the evening Pachangas Mexcian restaurant, who served up chimichangas, chicken wings, tacos and wine.

Richard Rodway welcomed the audience and introduced Gill Rushworth of Wyford Riding for the Disabled, who spoke about the charity which was being collected for on the night. Richard then introduced the night’s surprise performance, Stagecoach Theatre School.

They treated the audience to some festive classics before going into a theatrical performance of some songs from ‘the Lion King’.
Henley College principal Jayne Davis thanked the Theatre School before Richard Rodway then presided over the raffle, ably assisted by some of the students from the Theatre School.

Next up for the Living Advent, the 16 Advent door will be opened at the River & Rowing Museum, where Niki Schafer Interior Design will be partnering in conjunction with the Quince Tree. Fundraising on the night will be for the Museum charity.

Every evening Dec 1st - 24th, 6:15 to 6:45pm
