Highlights
Audience who visited Henley Town Hall for day #16 of the Living Advent were treated to mulled wine and mince pies on arrival from partners for the night Knight Frank estate agents, and then a fabulous set by local band “Lucky To be Alive”. Front man Matt Richardson was initially replaced on lead vocals by young son Felix for a rendition of Oasis’ “Wonderwall”, but then normal service resumed with Matt leading the way with an uplifting up-tempo set featuring David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance”, Wild Cherry’s “Play That Funky Music” and Stealer’s Wheel’s “Stuck In The Middle With You”.
The night represented a fundraiser for The Fish Volunteer Centre, who donated some festive raffle prizes which event organiser Richard Rodway gave out to the lucky winners to round off the evening, assisted by chairman of the charity, Clive Mills.
