Festive Falaise Friday Night Sax

A huge crowd gathered in freezing conditions in Market Place / Falaise Square for night #9, and were treated to an equally huge performing ensemble in the form of The Sax Bandits.

The 80+ strong saxophone orchestra, conducted by Rob Digweed, treated the audience to an uplifting set, ranging from festive numbers such as Shakin’ Stevens “Mery Christmas Everyone” and “Santa Claus is Coming To Town” to other pop classics such as The Human League’s “Don’t You Want Me Baby” and the Bee Gees’ “Tragedy”.

The show served as a fundraiser for the Mayor’s supported causes (the 3 primary schools in the town and Greener Henley) and raised over £300.00.
