Details of Performers: Vox Pop
Highlights
Barbershop quintet Vox Pop entertained another big crowd in a packed café at the River and Rowing Museum.
The audience had been served mince pies and mulled wine on arrival by partners for the evening Knight Frank, and upon making their way to their seats found that they had candy canes waiting for them too.
Vox Pop treated us to a medley of tunes to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the First World War, and a variety of other songs ranging from ‘Scarborough Fair’ and finishing on their own composition ‘Pointed Words For Mother’.
After the performance, Richard Rodway selected some children from the audience to help him with the raffle, with prizes kindly donated by the museum (a pass for a family for four), Checkendon Equestrian Centre (half hour walk (on horseback) through the woods) and Mr. Rodway’s Head Partnership Solicitors (champagne).
Next up, it is on to Henley Cricket Club for the first time for night 20.
Every evening Dec 1st - 24th, 6:15 to 6:45pm
