Highlights
The 21st Advent door was opened at Henley Cricket Club, where Eco-Cleen were kind partners in conjunction with habitual Living Advent favourites Lawlors the Bakers.
Richard Rodway welcomed the audience on the lawn and then introduced the Tapestry Choir, who performed on the clubhouse steps. It was a beautiful and idyllic performance with a very seasonal feel, including a version of the “Gaudete” made famous by Steeleye Span, and ending on “The Holy & The Ivy” with the audience invited to join in with on the chorus, which they duly did with gusto.
There were a large and diverse array of prizes, kindly donated by Eco-Cleen and Machins Butchers amongst others.
Next up, and with Christmas and the end of Advent on the horizon, we return to Falaise Square in front of the Christmas Tree for night 22, where Cookcurry Club will be partnering and charity 19 for 2015 will take their bow, the Fish Volunteer Centre.
Every evening Dec 1st - 24th, 6:15 to 6:45pm
