Phyllis Court - Sunday 4th
Performance Site: Finlay Suite
Details of Performers: Marc Hockley’s “Mike Al Buble”
Highlights
Marc Hockley returned to the Living Advent, having opened the event as alter ego Robbing Williams in 2014. At Phyllis Court for night 4, the audience were treated to the warmth of the first indoors performance of 2016, as Marc treated to them to a superb tribute set in the guise of Mike All Buble.
The hosts having treated the audience to mulled wine and nibbles, “Mike” performed some of Michael Buble’s big hits such as “Cry Me A River” as well as some festive classics such as “It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas”.
“I’m really delighted and proud to be able to put on nights like tonight” said event organiser Richard Rodway. “It is fantastic to be able to come to great venues like this with performers of the quality of Marc”.
The night raised monies for Thames Valley Animal Welfare, with Mayor Julian Brookes presiding over the raffle with Mr Rodway and his youngest son Eddie.
Kathryn Fell was again on hand to kindly take some photos.
Next for the Living Advent is night 5 on the terrace at Angel on the Bridge, so wrap up warm for another surprise treat, another new act to the event. Copas Turkeys will be supplying some scrumptious turkey burgers, and fundraising will be on behalf of Headway Thames Valley.
Every evening Dec 1st - 24th, 6:15 to 6:45pm
