Highlights
A Friday Night At The Museum
Night 8 took the event back to the River & Rowing Museum for the first time in 4 years. The museum made a big effort to mark it’s return, with a late night shopping event and an impressive list of prizes for the raffle, which was serving as a fundraiser for the museum charity.
Guests made their was to the Thames Room where they were greeted by The Henley Distillery, the nights partners, treating them to warm gin & run based drinks, and festive biscuits.
The impressive journey the audience had to the performance area was then met by the suitably and equally impressive performers for the evening, Living Advent favourites Pure Fluke.
Their set included Duran Duran’s “Save A Prayer”, Paul Simon’s “50 Ways To Leave Your Lover” and culminating with the festive classic “Fairytale of New York” with Pure Fluke frontman Dave Pinder paying homage to the sad passing of Pogues frontman Shane MacGowan.
The audience having been treated to a visit by Mister Toad before the performance, then had Santa arrive to help Richard Rodway with the raffle draw.
Every evening Dec 1st - 24th, 6:15 to 6:45pm
