Way Above Average Record Breaking Wife Band Night

The audience packed into Henley Rugby Club for night #9 where they were treated to a fabulous set by The Average Wife Band. It was very much a joyous upbeat party atmosphere, with several couples taking to the dance floor

The audience were treated to a fantastic set including Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition”, Gerry Rafferty’s “Baker Street”, and Winter Wonderland.

On one of the night’s in 2022, the highest amount ever raised on a single Living Advent night was recorded when The Average Wife Band performed, in aid of Camp Mohawk, and it was Camp Mohawk who benefited again as more records tumbled, with the record for most raised at the Rugby Club being smashed, and the night also setting a new bench mark away from Saint Mary’s, Market Place, The Town Hall that did not include an auction element. A whopping £523.
