Night 6 of the Living Advent saw a number of firsts. It was the first time the Spice Merchant had been involved as a venue, it was the first time that neighbours Farrow & Ball had been partners, it was the first time Tom Ryan and Paula Price-Davies had organised a Living Advent night, and it marked Living Advent debuts for the nights performers...
A seasonally chilly but idyllic night on the lawn at Leander Club, with the club house beautifully illuminated by Hugh Legh, with the stunning illuminated town as a backdrop and delicious mince pies and mulled wine courtesy of the hosts, was what awaited an audience of over 100 people on night #5.
"8 years and 4 days ago precisely" announced Richard Rodway, "this act performed at the first ever Living Advent night, and so they have a very special place in our hearts", and a 50 plus strong Rock Choir then filed out of the building...
Night 4 of this year's event saw an audience of around 100 people gather in outside the offices of Handelsbanken, off of Greys Road car park, with partners for the evening Blandy and Blandy.
At 6:15 p.m, a first floor window opened in traditional Advent window style, and event organiser Richard Rodway welcomed the audience and introduced the night's surprise performer, solo vocal performer Kitty Mazinsky...
